Just wanted to leave a note. (Because I couldn&#039;t find a like button.) I agree with what you have written. Most Middle Eastern languages are context driven. Vowelization (vowel marks) in the Middle East is a very recent phenomenon ((historically speaking)) since it was assumed that the readers of the languages would understand the word in the context that it was written. When newspapers and magazines are intended for a native audience they seldom use vowel marks due to increased costs of printing.
